Wilson Yung is an ADA Angel. He was diagnosed with learning difficulties after contracting meningitis at birth, but his optimistic personality helped him to overcome all kinds of adversity. He is passionate about music and is a hardcore fan of rock bands Mr and Beyond. Wilson learnt guitar in secondary school, and his hobby is playing the guitar and singing along. He also composes his own music. Under the guidance of various music professionals, Wilson is honing his vocal, guitar and music composition skills to prepare himself for the next breakthrough success in his music career.
Eager to build his experience in live performance, he actively took part in music shows and competitions since 2006., He performed a song composed by himself, titled “Gas Station, in memory of the Manila hostage tragedy”, at the event “Cross All Borders: Hong Kong Festival Showcasing New performing Artists with Disabilities 2011” in which he won “The Most Outstanding Performer Award” for his performance. He was also awarded the Bronze Prize (Transform Division) by the 4th Youth Art Festival Arts and Positive Energy Youth Award Scheme 2011. Wilson was also guest performed in many charity concerts.
